The Daily Pro Shots photos are now downloading to the “Daily Photos” category in the Webshots Desktop Application. We’ve fixed the issue where the photos were downloading to the other categories that they’re also a part of, such as the above photo of the kittens downloading to Kittens but not the Daily Photos.

A huge thank you goes out to our developers for fixing this, and an even bigger thank you goes out to you, our members, for letting us know!

MBA students at Case Western Reserve University are doing their final project on Webshots, and they need your help. They want to survey Webshots members to see what they think about the site, the brand and how well we respond to you.

UPDATE (8/14/2009 @ 5:30 p.m. EST): The issue has been resolved by our engineers and tested by our QA team. If you are still experience issues, please let us know in the blog.

We are aware of the reports of intermittent thumbnails/images not displaying for some albums. Some of the same albums are also experiencing performance issues with the slideshow. Due to the random nature of the problem, we are attempting to isolate the source of the issue and will resolve it as soon as possible. 

For those who have experienced this issue, it would be very helpful if you could post a link to your album, specify when it was uploaded, tell us if your album was uploaded using the Webshots desktop software (please provide the version # and what operating system you use such as Vista or XP) or if you uploaded using the site. (Please specify which browser you’re using (example: Internet Explorer 8, Firefox 3.0.11)

UPDATE: The stats are now updating and will continue to update throughout the next few days.

We recently experienced some technical issues with the most recent album stats not displaying over the weekend for some members. The engineers have located the problem and are currently working to resolve the issue.

We recognize how important your stats are to you, and we apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you very much for your patience while we work on this issue. We will keep you posted in this blog post with more information and updates.
